The cherry blossom is the only decoration that can and only can be bought with jade. (Other decorations are bought with gold) It is one of the largest (3x3 tiles) decorations. Moreover, it is the (visually) highest decoration, thus, some small (1x1 tile) items with small visual height (e.g. red roses) can be nearly hidden behind it.
